Information for the upcoming Cookie Dough Fundraiser should have come home with your student on Monday, February 29th.  The Fundraiser will run from February 29-March 11.

Meadow Elementary presents Our Annual Christmas Sing

Christmas in the Meadow

Thursday, December 17

9:45 (Grades 1-6 and morning kindergarten)

12:45 (Grades 1-6 and afternoon kindergarten)

Performance Order: 3, 1, 5, K, 4, 2, 6

After 6th grade sings, all the students of Meadow Elementary will

wish you Merry Christmas with a song! We hope you will be able to stay

for the entire program and enjoy the holiday spirit at Meadow!!

 

What Students Should Wear:

Kindergarten: Dress Clothes (dresses and button up shirt and slacks) and Santa hat

1st Grade: Christmas Colors

2nd Grade: Dress Clothes dresses and button up shirt and slacks

3rd Grade: Jeans, solid red, green or white shirt, Santa hat optional

4th Grade: Beach attire; shorts, sunglasses, beach towel (no swimsuits)

5th Grade: Jeans, white shirt, red or other colored scarf

6th Grade: White shirts, dark pants

Stuff our sock with socks drive

Monday, December 7th we will begin our “Stuff our Sock

with Socks” Drive. We will be collecting new socks for babies,

children and adults any size and color to donate to the Road

Home this Christmas Season. We are excited to donate to a

good cause, and appreciate any and all support.

Taming the Lion Without The Whip:  Strategies to Deal with Oppositional, Defiant and Escalating Behaviors

We often get caught using negative and punishing techniques in dealing with children and students who are oppositional and defiant, as well as those who quickly escalate to aggressive and intrusive behavior.  This workshop will explore more positive strategies in dealing with these children and how to better manage power struggles.

Presented by Marian Hunt M.Ed. and Rian Jensen, LCSW.

Open to all parents who have a student who is struggling, on a Section 504 Plan or an IEP Plan.

Childcare is NOT provided.

Chick-fil-A Spirit Night

The PTA is working with Chick-fil-A in American Fork to earn money for our school.  Chick-fil-A will donate 20% of their vouchered revenue from 5:00pm – 8:00pm during our spirit nights.  Just mention that you are from Meadow and who your teacher is when you order.  Spirit Night is the 1st Thursday of every month.  The class that earns the most money gets lunch with the cow!  So come on out and support this great program.  March 3rd will be our next Spirit Night.

STEAM Bright Ideas Super Saturdays

Bright Ideas is an extra-curricular theme based program open to all

interested elementary students. This year’s theme will focus learning

through the different branches of STEAM education: science, technology,

engineering, art and math.
